This concept was born of a short-term pilot project led by Professor Alexander Tochilovsky of Cooper Union.
An ‘old object’ becomes the starting point in an attempt to connect with past events and reinterpret them in a contemporary context. An original work is created based on material uncovered through a deep dismantling of the original object.
